All India Talent Search Examination is a National Level
Competitive Examination designed to test the knowledge and
competency of students from Classes I to X.
For
Classes I and II, the exam focuses on assessing basic concepts,
understanding, and foundational learning skills, in alignment with
the syllabus prescribed by CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards.
For
Classes III to X, the exam evaluates subject knowledge,
application, and analytical skills based on the respective
class-level curriculum as per CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards.
The objectives of AITSE:
- For Classes I and II: To spark curiosity and interest in
learning through fun and engaging assessments.
- To build a strong foundation in basic concepts, thinking
skills, and problem-solving abilities at an early stage.
- To encourage students to develop a habit of
self-assessment and confidence in expressing what they learn.
- To provide an opportunity to begin a systematic
preparation towards competitive examinations those come after
Class X and XII.
- To strengthen the understanding of concepts and skills
How is it beneficial to the students?
- Improves the academic performance of students.
- Stimulates the student's interest and enthusiasm in
problem solving, creative thinking and critical analyzing
- Opportunity to explore and nurture the creativity and
talents.
- It helps students to systematically prepare and
confidently appear for various competitive examinations like
IIT-JEE, NEET, CAT, GMAT, Civil Service Exams, IBPS etc
- Develops confidence and competency in students
- Participation Certificate to all the participants for
each examination. Excellence certificate to students scoring 60%
and above marks
Eligibility:
- Students of Classes I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII,
IX and X are eligible to participate in Olympiad exams.
Examination Pattern:
- All questions are of objective type
- Each correct answer carries two mark. No negative mark
for wrong answer
- Each class has a separate question paper and each
question paper consists of 50 questions.
- The medium of examination will be English
