NATIONAL LEVEL SCIENCE OLYMPIAD

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD is a National Level Competitive examination to test the knowledge and Competency of students in Science based on the Syllabus prescribed by CBSE, ICSE and State Boards. Students from Classes III to X can Participate in this competitive examination through his/her schools only.

The objectives of NLSO:

  • To provide a National level platform for students to compete with their peer in Science
  • To provide an opportunity to begin a systematic preparation towards competitive examinations those come after Class X and XII.
  • To strengthen the understanding of concepts and skills

How is it beneficial to the students?

  • Improves the academic performance of students.
  • Stimulates the student's interest and enthusiasm in problem solving, creative thinking and critical analyzing
  • Opportunity to explore and nurture the creativity and talents.
  • It helps students to systematically prepare and confidently appear for various competitive examinations like IIT-JEE, NEET, CAT, GMAT, Civil Service Exams, IBPS etc
  • Develops confidence and competency in students
  • Participation Certificate to all the participants for each examination. Excellence certificate to students scoring 60% and above marks
Eligibility:
  • Students of Classes III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX and X are eligible to participate in Olympiad exams.
Examination Pattern:
  • All questions are of objective type
  • Each correct answer carries two mark. No negative mark for wrong answer
  • Each class has a separate question paper and each question paper consists of 50 questions.
  • The medium of examination will be English
